Goals: Primary goals of the course are:

bullet To establish a base for future computer networks work and study
bullet Clear understanding of networking technologies, protocols and terms
bullet Acquaintance with routing, link layer technologies, packet switching, transport layer protocols, shared and point-to-point media
bullet Finally, prepare to perform some projects in computer networks which are essential in national development, designing and building switches, routers, etc.

Grading Policy: Final grades in the course will be based on the following weighting distribution.

bullet Midterm 50%
bullet Final Exam. 50%
