Goals: Primary goals of the course are:

	To establish a base for future computer networks work and study
	Clear understanding of networking technologies, protocols and terms
	Acquaintance with routing, link layer technologies, packet switching, transport layer protocols, shared and point-to-point media
	Finally, prepare to perform some projects in computer networks which are essential in national development, designing and building switches, routers, etc.

Grading Policy: Final grades in the course will be based on the following weighting distribution.

	Midterm 50%
	Final Exam. 50%
